Long Overdue Update and HGTV's Flip It to Win It Premiere

OH-EM-GEE! How are you? I know, it's been awhile, a long while since I've sent out any updates and I've been hearing from some of you saying I'm on your list! I know, I know. Sorry. If you and I are not connected on Facebook, we need to be because that's where I do all of my updates.So...where do I even start? It's been a crazy couple of months...year actually. I'll have to do a separate message to update you up on what I've been up to, but in a nutshell, if you didn't know, I have been working on a couple of shows for HGTV. No, your eyes are not deceiving you, I did say HGTV! Crazy right? Um...that doesn't even begin to describe it. In any case, I worked on a pilot for a show called Power Broker last year and that show got picked up for a series and we filmed for 4 months straight, did 7 home makeovers and the series wrapped at the end of March. Let's just say I basically had no life, worked 7 days a week, 18 hours a day...it was insane! It is currently in post production and is scheduled to air this Fall. Stay tuned for more information about that.As a result of having worked on the pilot for Power Broker, I was also asked to work on another pilot show for HGTV originally called House War, now Flip It to Win It. Personally, I liked the original name better but I guess there are too many shows with similar names. This show follows the adventures of real estate investment teams in the high stakes world of house flipping. This was filmed in the South Bay (San Jose and Los Gatos) so you may recognize a few faces. My role is totally off camera working with the teams on design upgrades and overseeing the design for the houses to ensure that they show well on camera for the reveals. It was a lot of fun and guess what? The pilot premieres TONIGHT!!! Woohoo! I'm so excited for everyone - the cast members, the production company, crew, and me! We all have a vested interest. The network wants to see how the audience likes it before they decide to pick it up as a series. Understandable...it's an investment, but we had a viewing party a couple of weeks ago and it is a GREAT show. It's humorous, entertaining and it's unlike anything else on the network right now. So, if you're on my list, you are in the trifecta club of loving real estate, renovation and design. That means, you're going to LOVE FLIP IT TO WIN IT. I invite you all to TUNE IN TONIGHT, Tuesday, April 23 at 8pm Pacific/5pm Eastern to HGTV and watch FLIP IT TO WIN IT. It's a one hour show. If you can't watch real time, I encourage you to SET YOUR DVR! Don't confuse our show with another one called Flip or Flop - NOT THE SAME! There are a bunch of premiere parties tonight and I'm going to be celebrating with some of the cast members, so if you're on Facebook or Twitter, you know I'll be talking about it.Here's a picture of me with some of the cast members at our viewing party. These are some fun folks!!!Flip It CastHere are two videos that I recorded announcing the show as well as one that includes a teaser reel of what you'll see tonight...check them out. LIKE them on YouTube. Subscribe to my YouTube channel as I have a ton of videos in the works. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
