In today’s video, I share my favorite DIY makeover of all time. This has been on my to do list for too many years and once it was done, I can’t even understand why I put it off for as long as I did. I’ve researched and considered options for so long, then one day in December I had an overwhelming urge to just start the makeover and within a few days it was done. Unfortunately, as soon as I started, we had a major plumbing issue that needed repairs which derailed the progress, but the finished result is sophisticated, high impact and created the prettiest backdrop for Christmas.
It’s a very easy DIY paint project that mostly entails cleaning surfaces, priming and multiple coats of paint. Watch this video to see what I did. All the materials you’ll need are outlined below the video. I hope this inspires you to give your unattractive fireplace or other feature in your home a makeover. It’s always worth it!
