HAPPY FRI-YAY!
Welcome back to Friday Faves where I'm sharing more of my faaave household and lifestyle items. These are items I actually use in my home and highly recommend.
Pocket Hose. You may have seen this on an infomercial once upon a time. I cannot tell you how nice it is to have a hose that I don't have to fight with to keep it contained. It's compact, it expands when needed and it stores away neatly into it's own little container. High Five to aallll of that!
Like so many people, I've had rubber garden hoses forever and let's be honest, the struggle is real to keep it coiled neatly on your water spicket. They're bulky, the sun wears out the hose and it gets hard, it cracks and it has a mind of its own when it comes to getting it coiled up. DISLIKE...to the nth degree!!!
That's why the pocket hose is one of the greatest inventions ever! I've only had mine for a year but let me tell you, it's a game changer! The pocket hose combined with the container saves me space and aggravation. You all know what I'm talking about.
2. You cannot get the pocket hose without the Pocket Hose Hose Holder. It's made to hang off your water spicket and the pocket hose completely shrinks (once you release all the water from it) and fits nice and neat into the holder. I'm telling you, this is genius! It looks so nice all tucked away. This seriously makes me so happy!!!
See the before and after? GAME CHANGER I tell ya! If you've got an old ratty rubber garden hose, do yourself a favor and upgrade to the pocket hose with the holder. It's seriously a lot of joy for about $40.
3. Variera Box. I LOVE this storage box from IKEA. It comes in two different sizes and it even comes with colored interiors. I've used them in many of my client projects to help organize pantries and bathroom cabinets. I use them at home to corral hair products in my bathroom and to house my hairdryer. My daughter uses it in her room to keep her craft supplies contained and organized. I also have one for my vitamins in my pantry. Plus, it has a handle so you can easily move it around as needed. It's white, clean lined, and because they're mostly square (with rounded edges), they fit easily on shelves and in cabinets and sits nicely side-by-side. I promise you'll love them. Make sure to look for these next time you go to IKEA...you won't regret it.
