In this Office Edition of our Holiday Gift Guide, I’m sharing my favorite home office products. Since so many people have evolved into working from home over the last few years and in particular since March 2020, these tools are more important than ever. If you missed the Kitchen Edition or the Bathroom Edition, make sure you check them out!
I’ve been working from a home office for the past two decades. My office spaces have evolved over time and these are the current items I absolutely cannot live without.
These double-ended highlighters come in handy when I’m reading a book or reviewing documents. The color options and the fact that there’s a finer tip for writing and a slanted tip for actual highlighting make these a multi-purpose tool.
This laptop stand raises my laptop to eye level which makes it much more ergonomic and allows the laptop to breathe. Paired with this HD webcam, the height is exactly where I need it to be. I added the webcam to my office inventory after being on a zoom call with a mentor of mine and I was wondering why she looked so good and my screen looked like I was from a 1985 movie. It’s definitely a must-have if you are on zoom meetings regularly or like myself, even conduct video podcast interviews. Laptop cameras do not provide the quality results to make you look polished.
This extendable tripod stand with a Bluetooth remote is perfect for video recording on my phone. The remote control allows me to control video recording or take photos of myself so much easier. Typing this reminds me of the convenient features that I should really take advantage of more often.
This pen loop holder was exactly what I’ve been needing for my physical planner to keep a pen readily available. I also added one to my iPad case to keep the pen attached. It’s these little things that make life more efficient that I love.
This lumbar pillow, chair pad and adjustable foot rest has transformed my office chair into a much more comfortable seat, especially on those long days that require many hours of sitting in the same spot. I couldn’t recommend these enough, especially if purchasing a high-end chair is not in your budget.
This leather desk pad has made such a difference. My desk surface is warmer (a desk gets cold!) which I appreciate since I use a separate wireless keyboard and mouse. Plus, I no longer need a separate mouse pad which used to be a real pain. I can roll the mouse around the entire surface of my desk if I needed to. It also actually makes my desk look more organized - BONUS!!
Whether you gift these items to others or yourself, they are game changers! Enjoy!!!
