Top 5 Websites to Get Great Home Staging Ideas and Tips

Heads up: I use affiliate links for my fave products. If you click and purchase, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We all know that the internet is a wealth of information, but it can be overwhelming as well. Where do you start? Contrary to most everyone's advice when it comes to research, I'm going to say that google is not where I would advise you to go. If you type in "home staging", you'll end up with an extremely broad search which includes home staging trainings, certifications, and way more information than you'd care to review. To narrow down your search, you may want to try being more specific with your key words.  Some examples are "effective home staging tips" or "creative home staging ideas", but I've helped you out by compiling a list of the top 5 websites to get great home staging ideas and tips...enjoy!

  1. HGTV.com - The leading authority in the Home & Garden arena. The site is packed full of great information and inspiration. In the search bar, type in "home staging" to tap into the rich resources available.

  2. FrontDoor.com - this is HGTV's real estate site and it is in beta mode. Type in "home staging" in the search bar to find specific staging information, but there are a lot of other fantastic resources as well.

  3. HomeStagingChannel.com - a wonderful resource for DIYers. The site offers tips, tools and resources for staging, cleaning, home improvement, and home selling through videos and articles.

  4. YouTube.com - offers information about anything you want to know. Type in "home staging tips" in the search bar and review the hundreds of videos available on this topic.

  5. AliceTChan.com - my own site with video, audio and article resources for all things home staging. Stay tuned for much more to come in 2010!

Note that this list does not include the long list of fantastic blogs that are available. I'll be sure to share my favorites in a separate blog post. If you have a site that you like to refer to, please share your resource with me below.
