The countdown continues to the first day of Spring 2018. Welcome to Day 5 of the Countdown to Spring 2018 Declutter Challenge. If not, please take a few minutes to catch up on Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and Day4. In today's video, we are going to take a few minutes to declutter our refrigerators and freezers! I decided to set my stopwatch during this process to see how long it would take for me to run through this exercise. Why not have a little fun right? I quickly checked the expiration dates on all the contents of my refrigerator and freezer and pulled out a few items including a bottle of sweet relish that expired in May 2017 and 2 boxes of frozen Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies that expired in 2016!! Aaaahhh!!!I challenge you to set the timer and see what treasures you uncover in just a few minutes. Take these baby steps and make it fun.
BONUS: Now that you've cleared out the clutter, give your fridge a nice wipe down and make a note to do a deep cleaning soon. No matter how often you clean, the refrigerator is a workhorse and endures a lot of a lot of activity so it deserves some extra attention from time to time.
