Today's home decor trend starts with the letter G for...Gold! After years of silver being the reigning accent metal of choice, now all the glitters is gold. Gold metal accents are all over the fashion runways and now homes around the country have gold fever. Just like Brass, our letter B Home Decor Trend, Gold is the warmer metal and automatically up levels a space. Here are some ways you can incorporate this 'it' trend into your own home. Accent pillows are always a quick and easy way to change up your decor. Gold accent pillows can be found in retail stores everywhere and endless options are available online at all price points.
And here's an inexpensive DIY option for incorporating an accent of gold. Spray your shelf brackets with a can of metallic gold paint and voila...instant drama!
And style those same shelves with a variety of gold accessories.
Everything from bedding to furniture and decorative accessories are available in gorgeous golds.
Swapping out the hardware on your furniture for gold ones are an easy way to incorporate this trend and if your existing hardware is in a different metal, hit with some gold spray paint and you have an instant update.
And what about this gold garden hose? It'll instantly take your garden to another level!
Ok, this might be a little over the top, but what about gold kitchen cabinets?

Gold goes so well with so many colors...coral and gold is a pretty combo don't you think?
