Welcome Back to week 4 of the A-Z Home Decor Trend Guide 2014.Over a period of 13 weeks, I'm revealing the hottest home decor trends currently heating up the market, design blogs, and the internet. Today's home decor trend starts with the letter H for...Home Offices! Home offices are not only a home decor trend, but it's a lifestyle trend. As cited in a 2013 article by Forbes.com, "A growing number of Americans are working from home. Whether they are self-employed entrepreneurs running small accounting services, or telecommuting for multinational consulting firms, some 30 million of us work from a home office at least once a week. And that number is expected to increase by 63% in the next five years, according to a study by the Telework Research Network. "If 1 in 5 Americans are working from home, it's no wonder that dedicated home offices are on the rise and we're no longer just talking about a makeshift desk with a computer and a printer in the corner of a room somewhere or even the old school home offices with traditional built-ins. Today's home offices are styled! These are spaces that have personalities reflective of the owner and their business. I'm a huge fan of the home office probably because I work in one. Check out my Home Offices Inspiration Pinterest board for hundreds of beautiful home office spaces. I've chosen some of my favorites to feature in this blog post. For more inspiration, check out the Style at Home section of the Glitter Guide and the Home Tours section of The Everygirl. Both blogs feature real life bloggers and entrepreneurs and offer tours of their homes which always includes a home office. We're all voyeurs to some extent and want to see how others live...I know I do. Enjoy! Here's one of the most famous home offices - Kris Jenner's Home Office, featured on the hit reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. This is a very glamorous space with the antiqued mirrors, crystal chandelier, lucite and the bold, geometric patterns.

Here's a more streamlined home office - Rachel Zoe's original home office from her condo as seen in the first seasons of the Rachel Zoe Project. Love the zebra rug which adds the graphic pop to the otherwise very clean, quiet space.

Does anyone else have an affinity for black and white like I do? I love the black and white spotted wallpaper and black bookcases...so stylish and functional.

Love this art deco inspired space in pink and brown.

and I love how this closet was turned into a home office...goes to show you can make even the smallest space chic and functional!

Here's another example of a small but chic home office space

The graphic nature of the fabrics chosen for the chair and rug make this space very sharp. Gotta love the pop of yellow!

And this is one of my all time favorite office spaces...blogger Maegan Tintari's Office/Dressing Room. I've modeled this space in my own office and in my daughter's room. The IKEA Expedit bookcase and desk is a popular choice for home offices.

And this home office is a great example of incorporating color, organization and style without going over the top.
