Welcome Back to the second half of week 13 of the A-Z Home Decor Trend Guide 2014.Over a period of 13 weeks, I'm revealing the hottest home decor trends currently heating up the market, design blogs, and the internet.

I love this house number plaque. The black and gold makes it very elegant and since pineapples are the symbol for hospitality, it's very fitting to have it greet you in the front of your home. I used to have a pineapple door knocker on my front door. Now I'm wishing I took it with me...sigh!

Now here's a fun twist on a traditional lantern...make it a pineapple shape one. Sculptural and just visually more interesting right?

This gold pineapple lamp base is a two in one trendsetter - gold and pineapple!

Pineapple drinking glasses...what a fun way to drink your juice or milk.

This is a little more kitschy, but cute nonetheless...a pineapple print clock. Kinda puts a smile on your face every time you look at it.

This one my daughter would love...pineapple ice trays. What a great way to incorporate a fun unexpected treat in your glass.

What do you think of these juicy colored hand painted pineapple prints?

How about 3 of those pineapple prints framed and hung side-by-side...multiples create a bigger impact.

I'm totally digging this contemporary pineapple wallpaper...love the combo of the black background with the bright pop of green. I can see this pack a punch in a powder room or in a dining room above a chair rail...you feel me?

So what you do this of this pineapple home decor trend? Can you see your home filled with this tropical fruit? Please share your pineapple goodness with me by posting pics to my Facebook Page or Tag me on Twitter @alicetchan & Instagram and use hashtag #2014homedecortrend.You're also invited to follow my A-Z Home Decor Trends 2014 Pinterest Board where you can see even more inspiration photos of all the trends I'll being sharing throughout the 13 weeks...see you online!
