A-Z HOME DECOR TREND 2014: ZEBRA

Thank you for joining me on this blog journey through the A-Z Home Decor Trends 2014.At long last...we have reached the end of the A-Z guide where I've been revealing the hottest home decor trends currently heating up the market, design blogs, and the internet. Today's home decor trend starts with the letter Z for...Zebra of course! Animal print, especially zebra, will always be on trend. This is one trend I can talk endlessly about because it is one of my favorite prints and if you've been to my house, you know this trend is well represented...zebra runner on my buffet, zebra border jute rug in my dining room, zebra ottoman in my closet, zebra coffee mug, zebra wrapping paper... did I say I LOVE ZEBRA?!! I just think it's so sophisticated! But wait...zebra gone wrong can be so ghetto! Like Jersey Shore ghetto. Not glamorous, sophisticated, I look like a million bucks fabulous...just G-H-E-T-T-O and oh so cheezy! We won't belabor that point. Just take a look at some of these haute rooms and if you're not already a zebra lover...brace yourself, you will be soon enough...I'm not sure if this is a wall-to-wall carpet or just an area rug, but combined with this tufted headboard, lucite stand and pleated drapes...so good right?
And this zebra print cowhide rug sets off this black and white room beautifully!
This is my ultimate dream...to have an animal print stair runner...maybe in zebra?
This ottoman is so chic with the zebra print and the metal studs...and paired with a white sofa with black piping to boot?!!!
and can we talk about this upholstered ottoman with the polished metal legs!
This is the ultimate!!! A tufted chair with zebra back...ah-mazing!! Like I died and went to decor heaean good!
And these zebra upholstered doors is on definitely on my list of things to do at some point in my lifetime...
