What’s Out
* Tile countertops - if you have ever had them, you know…
* Fluorescent light boxes or boob lights
* Built in Wine racks
* 4-6” backsplash made of the same countertop material
* Stationary shelves that make it difficult to see and reach items in the back or the corners
What’s In
* Solid surface countertops, particularly quartz, for its durability and ease of care
* Recessed lights, particularly 4” lights
* Wine fridge or beverage fridge
* Backsplash installed up from the countertops to under the cabinets, behind range hoods, and around the window if it’s part of the kitchen space
* Pull-out shelves and blind corner shelves that offer full access to the storage space
